How TuneUp Cycles collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

TuneUp Cycles Pty Ltd (ABN 33 700 112 867), trading as TuneUp Cycles ("we", "us", "our"), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information in connection with our workshop services and our website, and how you can access or correct your information or make a complaint.

01What Personal Information We Collect

Name, phone number, email address and postal address.

Details about your bicycle and its service history.

Payment details, processed through our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers).

Information you provide when contacting us, such as enquiries, feedback or complaints.

Technical information collected automatically through our website, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited (see Section 5, Cookies).

Directly from you, when you book a service, drop off a bicycle, make a purchase or contact us in person, by phone or through our website.

Automatically through your use of our website, using cookies and similar technologies.

From third parties where relevant, such as a payment processor confirming a transaction.

03Why We Collect and Use Personal Information

To provide, manage and follow up on repair and maintenance Services.

To process payments and maintain records for accounting and tax purposes.

To communicate with you about bookings, quotes and the status of your bicycle.

To respond to enquiries, feedback and complaints.

To improve our website and services, and, where you have opted in, to send you marketing communications.

To comply with our legal obligations.

04Disclosure of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose personal information to:

Trusted service providers who help us operate our business, such as payment processors, booking software providers and IT service providers.

Parts suppliers or manufacturers, where necessary to process a warranty claim on your behalf.

Government or regulatory bodies, where required by law.

A third party in connection with a sale or transfer of our business, in which case we will take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to be handled in accordance with this Policy.

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. We will respond to reasonable requests within a reasonable timeframe, and may ask you to verify your identity first.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. The version published on our website or displayed in-store applies from the date shown above.
